Free — included for everyone
Aerial map with current imagery and one historical layer (Lave Målebordsblade, 1901–1971). Protected-zone overlays — fortidsminder, beskyttede sten- og jorddiger, kulturarvsarealer. GPS session tracking, one-tap DIME submission, and a find journal with photos and notes. Look up who owns a parcel with Find owner, straight from the public register. The full legal and safety story works without paying.
Muld+ — what the subscription unlocks
LiDAR terrain. Shaded-relief from Dataforsyningen's national elevation model, with an adjustable vertical-exaggeration slider. Reveals barrows, hollow ways and ploughed-out features that aerial imagery hides entirely.
1800s historical map layers. Høje Målebordsblade (1862–1899) and Preussisk (1877–1912) — the surveys that show where the old farmsteads, roads and field boundaries actually were. The early-1900s Lave layer is free.
Old buildings (BBR). Muld+ plots every pre-1850 building from the official register on the map — old farmsteads and settlements at a glance, to guide where you search.
Storm beach conditions. Muld+ ranks Danish beaches by the conditions that may have cut sand away and exposed new ground — so you know where to check after a storm.
Permission Territory. Turn your landowner permissions into a pipeline — mark each field prospect, asked, granted or declined, and see your whole territory colour-coded on the map.
Offline map downloads. Cache the layers you care about for areas without signal. Useful for forest edges, coastal sites and anywhere LTE drops out.
Find & journal export. Export your finds as an illustrated report with photos (open and print in any browser), a spreadsheet (CSV), a Google Earth map (KML) or GPX — plus GPX export of your session tracks.
Aerial map, protected zones, GPS sessions, DIME submission, Find owner and the find journal all work identically on free and Muld+. Muld+ adds the heavier map data and field tools — LiDAR, 1800s historical layers, old buildings, storm beach conditions, Permission Territory, offline tile downloads, and find export.
Pricing FAQ
Can I try Muld+ before paying?
Yes — the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial in Google Play or the App Store, you won't be charged. The monthly plan has no trial.
How do I cancel?
On Android: open Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Muld → Cancel. On iPhone: open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Muld → Cancel Subscription. Either way, your Muld+ access stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Why is yearly so much cheaper?
Yearly is 610 DKK vs. 12 × 79 = 948 DKK — a 35% discount. Annual subscribers cost less to support and reduce churn, so it's worth offering a real discount instead of a token one.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, not by us. On Android: open the purchase in Google Play and choose Request a refund. On iPhone: request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't process store refunds directly — Google or Apple does.
Are prices the same in every country?
Muld is priced in DKK. Google Play and the App Store convert to your local currency at purchase using their current rates, which is why the number you see in the store may differ slightly from 610 DKK / 79 DKK exactly.
Will the price change?
We don't have plans to raise prices on existing subscribers. If it ever happens, Google Play or the App Store notifies you in advance and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
Do you store my payment details?
No. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. Muld never sees your card number, billing address or other payment data. See our privacy policy for details.
